Projects

Division Public Service Commission
Project / Program Purpose and Objectives This initiative is to sunset the SITSD hosted electronic docketing application, EDDI. The PSC has deployed and migrated to a new app, REDDI, as of July of 2023. With this move, EDDI is no longer needed and should be retired. EDDI is a complex application using multiple SITSD resources including storage, servers, and application technology services. It’s because of this complexity that the PSC is submitting this demand. The goal is to decommission all resources being used by EDDI thoroughly and systematically. This decommission will also result in the elimination of ongoing monthly maintenance costs the PSC incurs regarding EDDI. PSC is requesting a detailed overview of the EDDI data structure. All current EDDI data has been migrated over to REDDI. However, a complete backup of EDDI data is requested for retention in the event data loss or corruption occurs in REDDI. This back up will be held and maintained by PSC. In summary, there are two main objectives to this request. One is to have a map of the EDDI data structure along with a full backup of the data. The other is to systematically shutdown EDDI and all the resources it is using.
